Kyller (pronounced "killer"), as noted on Kalvyn's page, was Kalvyn's daughter. She never developed the outgoing, friendly nature that her father was famous for, and was really just Kandie's cat. She made a couple of exceptions to this rule, though. She would let me pet her sometimes, and once went right up to a first-time visitor named Echo and let her pet her. And in her last little while with us, she let our son Hank pet her, after he won her over with perisistant goodwill efforts.
She liked to play "fishing for cats", too. We also took her along on trips with us along with Kalvyn, but then realized they kept each other company enough that they wouldn't wreck the house if we were gone. So we started leaving them home.
She had some of the features of Maine Coon cats that Kalvyn didn't, like the tufts of fur between her toes and the lynx ears. And of course she was smaller, as female Maine Coons are.
We lost Kyller to kidney failure, less than a month before we lost Kalvyn to the same problem.
